I always look forward to January because I know there are some great bargains to be had online and on the High Street – and everyone likes to feel like they’re getting a great bargain right?
One of my favourite go-to shopping experiences is the Rex London sale – you can always pick up some great deals… special purchases that I make for myself as well as ideal gifts for friends and family throughout the year.
Shopping in the sale has definitely saved me a few quid over the years.
So then – what did I find in this winter’s sale from Rex London…?
N for Nadja
My top picture features a gorgeous coat hook in the letter ‘N’ for my daughter Nadja. Of course, Rex London does all letters of the alphabet, but what’s great is that they are all different colours and patterns, so even better if you are spelling out someone’s name or their initials.
I need to update the doors in our home upstairs, so I thought the unique coat hook would be ideal for Nadja to hang her dressing gown on – plus blue is her favourite colour which is a bonus!
Can you believe I spent just £1 on the Painted Ceramic Letter Hook – it was originally £5.95, so I really did bag a complete bargain.
Beautiful bunting!
Every two or three years I buy bunting for the back garden. I love seeing it when I look out of the kitchen window as it gently sways in the breeze. It makes the garden somewhat more inviting!
I’m counting down the days until I can get outside, soak up the sun and admire the garden close up once again.
I liked the Vintage Floral Washable Cotton Bunting so much that I bought two of them! They were £5.95 each, so I spent £11.90 in total. Originally, they are £12.95 each.
I love the fact that it’s washable – plus it’s around 8 metres in length which is a great length for being able to stretch across most gardens.
Candle/cycling fans
I know a few friends (and family members) who enjoy cycling and I’m a big fan of candles, so when I spotted this Le Bicycle Boxed Scented Candle for £2.95, I thought it was a great buy. In fact, I bought two of them.
The pure soy candles (which offer a Thai Pepper and Lime scent) were originally £9.95, so the £7 saving was particularly attractive.
I haven’t seen what the burn time is for the candles, but what I can tell you is that you can increase a candle’s burn time by popping it in the fridge for 30 minutes before you light it.
On the case
When it comes to glasses cases, how’s this for being trendy? As a travel fan, I don’t think I could have picked a better design.
Again, I know some friends who will also appreciate their unique design, so I bought two Departure Lounge Glasses Case and Cleaning Cloths for just £1 a pop (they were originally £4.95).
I spent in total £20.80 in the sale. Had the items not been on sale, I would have spent £61.65, meaning that I saved a huge £40.85!
Delivery was free because I’m a Rex London Newsletter subscriber – and if you spend more than £20, you receive free UK delivery as a Club Member.
Being a subscriber also means I get the heads up on events like their winter sale, new product designs and great gift ideas, so it’s worth signing up.
