When I recall my childhood, it often evokes memories of getting absorbed in great books.

We didn’t have iPads, mobile phones or the Internet, so a lot of free time was spent reading books.

And that’s why I love reading – getting lost in a good book is amazing. Among my favourite authors were Enid Blyton and Roald Dahl, classic children’s authors that are still incredibly popular to this day.

So when I saw this lovely new range of bed linen, fabrics and blinds theme in Roald Dahl style from Ashley Wilde, it just had to be shared.

The illustration shows the BFG holding Sophie cupped protectively in his giant hand. A panel of soft blue with white polka dots runs along the top and bottom of the duvet with a lovely quote from the story.

The pillows features another detailed illustration, showing Sophie with her best friend, the BFG. The white polka dots on soft blue continue on to the border of this charming pillow.

And, as a bonus – you can flip the duvet over to reveal more from the famous story, with a selection of illustrations alongside some well know phrases and words.
